Agri Modelbouw Log Splitter – KIT -1:32 Scale - AM-02020

Nice and simple building kit to make your own log splitter.

The kit consists of the following parts:

3D printed Frame

Round polystyrene rod Ø 2.5 x 40mm

Round polystyrene rod Ø 1.5 x 20mm

Small nail Ø 1.2 x 20mm

2x nails Ø 0.6 x 28mm

150mm Hydraulic hose Ø 0.5mm

2x Hydraulic lifting "man"

Short description:

Cut the push block loose from the frame with a pair of 3D cutting pliers.

Sand all irregularities smooth off the frame and push block with a fine sanding pad/sandpaper.

Drill through the 2 outer holes of the valve block with a 0.6/0.7mm drill bit.

Spray the frame and push block in the desired color.

Cut the Ø 2.5mm poly rod to length and drill a hole of at least 1.5mm at the front for the mounting pin of the push block (tip: start by drilling a smaller diameter and work your way up until you reach the correct size), and then spray it silver with, for example, wheel spray.

Slide the cylinder together and secure the push block with the Ø1.5mm poly rod.

Mount the hydraulic couplings onto the hoses and attach the hoses; you can now easily pull them through the valve block to the cylinder. Choose the desired excess length yourself.

Cut the Ø 0.6mm rivets to length, color the heads black, and glue them into the two middle holes of the valve block. If desired, you can bend them slightly beforehand with pliers so that they are positioned at a slight angle.

Finally, cut the Ø 1.2 mm nail to length as a top bar pin and push it through the holes (tip: put a little glue behind the head of the nail to prevent losing the pin😉)
