🚜 Classic Early-2000s Britains JCB

The Britains JCB Fastrac 3185, reference 40061, is a cracking older 1:32 scale model dating from 2001.

With its unmistakable JCB yellow and black finish, four equal-sized wheels and distinctive high-speed tractor design, the 3185 represents a great period in the history of both JCB Fastrac and Britains farm models.

Now around 25 years old and long since discontinued, these early-2000s Britains models are developing plenty of nostalgic collector appeal of their own.

💛 The JCB Fastrac 3185

The Fastrac has always been a little different from a conventional agricultural tractor, and the 3185 continued that tradition.

For the 2001 model, Britains revised its previous Fastrac tooling to represent the new 3185. Changes included redesigned bonnet and cab sections, revised lighting, front mudguards and a front bumper.

The result is a model that captures the chunky, purposeful appearance of the real 3185 particularly well.

Classic Britains Reference 40061

Reference 40061 dates from 2001, placing it firmly in that increasingly collectable period of Britains production between the classic 1980s/90s models and today's much newer releases.

Finished in traditional JCB colours with realistic agricultural tyres, detailed cab and functional features, it's a great model to display alongside period trailers and implements.

Finding these older models is still possible, but clean examples retaining their original packaging are naturally becoming harder to come across.
