Vintage Britains Vicon Grass Mower 9531 Later Box 1995 Obsolete 1:32 Scale

The Vintage Britains Vicon Grass Mower (9531) is a classic 1:32 scale farm implement and one of those Britains models that will bring back plenty of memories for collectors. This example is the later-box version from around 1995, making it an interesting alternative to the earlier Rainbow Box release.

Britains produced the 9531 as a model of the Vicon KM321 Grass Mower, recreating a very familiar piece of grassland machinery in miniature. Vicon equipment was a common sight on British farms, and the Britains version became equally familiar on the carpet farms of the 1980s and 1990s.

This particular example comes in the later Britains packaging, making it especially useful for collectors who enjoy finding the different box and production variations of long-running Britains models. The 9531 itself first appeared considerably earlier — specialist model databases date the model to 1987 — so the later packaging represents another stage in the life of this popular implement.

Now obsolete and no longer produced, the 9531 remains a great little addition to a vintage Britains collection, particularly displayed behind one of the Ford, New Holland or Massey Ferguson tractors from the same period.
